Our Story

In Vino Veritas began as a way to bring people together and educate them about the wide world of wine.

"In Vino Veritas" is a Latin phrase meaning "In wine, there is truth." It suggests that when people drink wine, they often speak more freely and honestly—sometimes revealing their true thoughts and feelings.

For many, the wine journey begins at the family table—sharing a bottle of thoughtfully chosen wine, savoring not just its taste, but the stories behind it. It's in these moments that an appreciation for wine takes root: learning to notice the vintage on the label, the region it hails from, and the traditions poured into each glass. Wine becomes more than a drink---it becomes a connection to history, culture and heritage. That early awareness, sparked by curiosity and shared experiences with family was the first step in my own wine journey.  From saving wine labels and pasting them to an album, taking notes, saving corks, and reading voraciously about everything wine, I began to find what I liked in a bottle. This curiosity coupled with my own brother’s hard work at a wine importer allowed our family to travel to vineyards and learn about the best wines such as Ornellaia and Sassacaia in Italy and great Bordeauxs in France.

At In Vino Veritas, we honor that journey---whether it began with a cherished family tradition or a single unforgettable glass.  In Vino Veritas endeavors to speak to the personal truths and discoveries that unfold as well all explore wine. Every glass tells a story---and as your journey continues, you will learn about history, culture and even yourself---your tastes, preferences and the experiences that shape them.

In Vino Veritas is not here to tell you what to drink but to provide you with opportunities to taste and learn so you can discover your own palates.
